Pennsylvania Vending Machine Locator
Pennsylvania is a unique state for vending machine companies. In that it has great areas, but a lot of areas where I would not recommend setting up a new route.
Overall the metro Philadelphia area and Reading are the best areas by far for new vendors, whereas western PA is a tough market. The rest of the state falls in the middle.
Let's take a look at the different sections of Pennsylvania:
Southeast PA:
Just a great area!
I don't care what vending machine you own, you can be successful here and grow as large as you want. Philadelphia and its suburbs offer everything to a vendor.
However if you want your route in the city, you definitely want to key on specific vending machines. Give me a call or email and I'll let you know what I have found to be best for vendors here.
If you establish your route in the city, you have different sections you can set up in. All offer advantages and disadvantages. Let's take a quick look at the different sections of Philly:
West Philadelphia
Most vendors do not want to be in this area. I understand their reasons. But this is a great area for POS vending. And bulk. An advantage of having a route here is there is so much opportunity.
South Philadelphia
A great area, although I would not recommend cranes or POS. You could get a better return for these vending services in other areas of Philly.
By the Airport
Another great area! Every type of vending machine would work here.
Northeast Philly
I'll divide this area between the Latino area and the Puerto Rican area. Most vendors are more comfortable in the Latino neighborhoods east of Broad Street and north of Temple University. And this is a great area. But don't overlook going to the Puerto Rican neighborhoods. The culture there is different, but everyone is friendly and helpful. Plus you can make a lot of money vending there.
North Philadelphia
Any type of vending machine will work here. Just another great area!
